You just don't get it, do you?

Leadership is about making tough choices. The more unpopular the decision the more leadership you show. Killing people for no meaningful purpose is about as unpopular as you can get. Tony and George have killed or led to the death of somewhere in excess of 100,000 Iraqis, whilst Iraq as a country is being destroyed and will almost certainly cease to exist relatively soon.

Ergo, they are two of the toughest/greatest leaders of their time, and history will confirm their unpopularity/greatness in due course.

Why would he feel guilty about that, especially since as an added bonus we now have the threat of terrorist reprisals to slap in the face of Guardian reading liberals who want to maintain outdated ideas bout the rule of law, privacy, ID cards, etc.
