You might also be interested in some of the work Martin O'Neill is doing. Rawls had rather underdeveloped commitment to what he called property-owning democracy, which calls for - roughly - the wide dispersal of capital, but nothing much specific, and Martin, along with some others, has been trying to work out what that might mean more concretely. There was a symposium in the most recent issue of Journal of Social Philosophy which I think he compiled with someone.
